This week has been full, with good and bad. Becca had an eye appointment to check her progress with he glasses. There has been improvement, but the doctor has decided to have Becca start wearing an eye patch. She has to wear it for 4 hours a day. It has been rough, but I know it is for the better. It is just so scary for her because we have to cover her good eye, and she cries because it is so hard to see. She is my little trooper, and I know this is helping. I wish I could take it all away, my poor baby girl.
Becca and me are staying with my mom this week to help with the baby shower for my sister. My sister is due next month, and we are getting ready to meet little Noah! I am so excited!
This week I have been a baking fool, and I have some yummy pictures to share! Made homemade bread for the first time. It was good! Didn't have a loaf pan, so I braided them (another first). I am very happy with my first attempt!
And who can go wrong with chocolate and peanut butter?
That gooey goodness made these Reese's peanut butter bars. Mmmmmmmmmmmm.......
Made this cute little guy for the turtle themed baby shower. We are going to make a dip bowl out of it.
Here he is with spinach dip. He was a huge hit!
I can not believe how much I am in love with making bread! Why did I not make any before? I can not wait to make more.
Well, that is it for now. I will post as soon as I can. I hope you all have wonderful weekend with little stress and lots of laughter!
Bread is one of my favorite things to make too! You should wear an eye patch and play pirates with Becca. I hope it gets a little easier for you both.
ReplyDeleteWonderful idea! It is getting easier, just heartbreaking.
