Photo Challenge Day 4: Fun!

Today was going to be the day! We were going to get out of the house and go to the beach! The sun came out this afternoon and we went to get ready to go. No sooner had we finished, the rain came back. Today I was supposed to take a picture of something fun, and I had planned on getting one on the beach in the sunshine. Bummer!

Becca was really bummed! She was as excited as me. So I had to think of something cool to do with her to take her mind off not being able to go out. So I got some boxes from the garage, some tape, scissors, paper, and markers.

We made her "doll houses", as she calls them!

So cute! She did such a good job!

This is her "noodle" (this is what she has always called poodles) she drew on one side of her house. I think it is incredible! Love the curly hair and the tail!

She even got to stay up a little past bedtime. She was having so much fun!

She told us she was ready for bed now that Minnie and Belle's houses were "fixed". This is how she left them when she went to bed.

So this is fun to me! My daughter had such an amazing time! She was so creative. I got to watch her play and make-believe! It was great. She went to bed telling me stories of what she is going to act out tomorrow. I love how a couple of boxes can mean so much to her.
