We went into Newport today. We drive over this bridge all the time, but rarely stop to truly look at it. On the way home, I had Allen stop at a state park that sits on the bay; ocean on one side and the bridge on another. Instead of taking a picture looking out into the ocean, I put it to my back and looked inland. I even got a fishing boat on its way back in. I just love this bridge, this bay, this harbor. I love the way of life in a fishing town; watching the workers at the docks, hearing the sea lions bark, and smelling the salt and fish.
I always love looking up when driving under the arch of a bridge. Such a cool perspective!
I am so lucky to have the opportunity to live here, even if not for very long.
I love your skyline picture. Great shot. I take the same kind of looking up pictures of bridges.
ReplyDeleteThanks Trish! I know, it is cool to watch the bridge as you go under the arch.
